The last 30 minutes still give me the goosebumps even after seeing this movie dozens of times..Definitely one of my fave Westerns and fave movies in general. Clint Eastwood, the Icon..the Legend. 10/10
Usually, I am not a Western movies person. Not my cup of tea. But this movie was an exception. The cast was so solid, it was hard not to enjoy the storyline. My list of favorite Westerns is short, but this movie is right on top. Oscar awards rightfully deserved. Worth watching.

I agree completely. I went to the movies to see this when it was released and I’ve seen it multiple times since then. 5/5 in my opinion too
I saw this in 1992 and have not watched it since. But I do believe it’s time to revisit this western. Lochlyn Munro was rather young in this movie and he’s one of the best character actors. Right now, he plays the governor in Joe Pickett.
