Gotta wonder if Gary Sinise was cast in Forrest Gump because of this movie.

one of my favorite stories by John Steinbeck. I think they did a great job recreating it in this movie. It makes me cry every time

What an outstanding watch! If you have not viewed this film take the time to do so. This is a great production where all aspects of film making come together. The story, the writing, the directing and acting, cinematography, editing, etc. It is an exceptional example of how a book should be brought to the big screen.
