Inspiration for film: Was on a road trip to Temale in 1997 and our car veered toward a village. In a far distance before we approached the village, I noticed an unusual scene as never would happen in Accra. The entire village both old and young came out to wave at the passing car, beaming with all smiles and excitement. This rare site caught up my attention and sprouts my creative impetus. But I was not a filmmaker then and had no tools to craft this idea. Many years now, I feel now is the right moment to tell this story in a cinematic way; creating a sharp contrast between two worlds and the quest for enlightenment. With a small twist of cinematic experience to the actual event, this film will enlighten you and will inspire you. Gaxorzorzor is a film based on a 7year old boy whose dream is to see a car for the first time in his life.
