A short film about a South African conscripts’ realization that he can’t change Africa. Set in the Angolan Bush war in 1979, we follow three reconnaissance soldier’s mission beyond enemy lines where they discover they are being hunted by a T54 tank. On their race back towards the Namibian border they cross paths with an Angolan postman on his daily postal route. This meeting teaches them that they can not control what happens in Africa; that they are mere pawns for the ideological powers at be: both East and West. |
