The inspirational story of ten Canadians who go the distance for remembrance with award-winning author Mark Zuehlke. They meet as strangers in Sicily on the eve of a 300+km trek through the central mountains of the rugged Mediterranean island. Their leap of faith has taken them a great distance already — 7000 km and an ocean away from their comfortable homes and lives in Canada. Now they are embarking on a physically-demanding 20-day odyssey in the hottest month of the year to resurrect lost history of Canadian sacrifice.
