‘Spare Change’ is about the moments that change your life, not the ones that almost did. A young man notices a young girl on a park bench on a winter day. His nerves get the best of him and instead of acting on impulse and approaching her, he hesitates and rides away on his bicycle, feeling a strong sense of pity and regret. He rides quickly throughout the park, ashamed of his behavior. He then stops and envisions what his life could be like with this girl, had he only the courage to speak to her. Could this have been someone who could have changed his life?
