Abandoned as an infant in modern-day Prague, naive and strong-willed Charlotte Ruzik was raised by the dangerous yet protective vampire, Valek. Growing up in the “Occult” cities, she tries to fit in with the magical creatures of this secret world only to find that Valek alone truly understands her. When a young warrior returns home as heir to the kingdom, he declares war against the vampires, putting Valek’s life in danger. Charlotte must unite the creatures of both light and darkness to defeat this oppressive villain and save the man that she secretly loves. |
