Life in the emergency lane is a road trip movie, following two stand-up comedians trying to eliminate a huge tax debt, with a desperate stand-up tour through the outskirts of Denmark, Europe. In 28 days, they do 28 jobs all over the country. During the road trip, their relationships are tested, as competition for good reviews, drugs, alcohol, strippers, girlfriends and newly born babies up the pressure on the two guys and with them owing a $100,000 to the IRS, the comedians have to accept, that no job is too shitty, when you’re in debt. |
