Details:

When the government of New Brunswick, Canada announces it will lease public land for natural gas exploration, indigenous anti-fracking protesters - who claim much of the province as their traditional territory - stage demonstrations with their supporters across the province and attempt to prevent gas companies from working. But when protests, acts of non-violent civil disobedience, and local anti-fracking legislation fail to change the provincial government’s policy, the protest eventually spirals into one of the most violent law enforcement confrontations in Canadian history. NOWHERE ELSE TO GO captures the chronology of the protest as it happened - from its early days as a non-violent environmental justice movement up through the violent clash between protesters and police in October.
