This is a movie so worth watching! I’ve watched many times and still LOL at it. Don’t let the yr fool you, it’s still a great movie and is better than many comedies out today! My opinion is all.

this is hysterical. I haven’t watched it in years. I really needed a good laugh

Oh wow, I could not stop laughing, movies rarely do that for me anymore. It is a must watch again and again and again

Really is great! Peak Shelly Long! An over-the-top one I liked as a kid was Animal House, then the series Delta House. Anyone remember Dean Worner from those, played by John Vernon? Hilarious guy! He’s the dad of Kate Vernon who was Ellen Tigh on BSG, and then also Nan Vernon, a songwriter who did music for Rob’s remake of Halloween. Vernon was a great antagonist in the film & the series!

Multiplicity is schlocky sci-fi fantasy with Michael Keaton. It’s also pretty fun.

Ah yes! Good memories this movie! Really liked Shelly.

Ph. here. I fell in LOVE with the Irish in this heavily ignored Audrey Hepburn - like romance. Gosh, if only. haha

random000 2 points 1 year ago.

Hi Ph! Hugs to you & P (ツ) It also reminds of Marie Wilson, who did lots of things including Irma in Martin & Lewis My Friend Irma & Groucho’s A Girl In Every Port. She did an earlier film with Cagney & Pat O’Brien that was aaalll Irish! She was very good in the same type of role that Shelly’s doing here.

Yes it is a really good movie too. It’s been a long time since I watched it I must give it another go

ThinMan 2 points 1 year ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Wow, why would anyone down-vote a Shelley Long movie recommendation?? That’s just weird.

random000 3 points 1 year ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

That’s weird. Shelly Long? She’s great. How about Teri Garr then? This is a great Teri Garr flick:

People dig what they dig & don’t what they don’t. Some sites really don’t even want comment streams messing up their site at all & don’t allow it since they can be cliquey & immature. Others don’t even have voting at all as a way to stop popularity contests altogether. People get very worked up if others don’t vote the way they vote, like what they like, etc. Voting booths are private because its no one’s business. Too many are just too disrespectful to grasp that though, so we’d not even allow voting at all, not up or down since it would finally silence all the whining.

also I made a point to upvote all your comments on here. Cheers and have a Great TGIF and an even better weekend

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 year ago.

I agree with your statement. I also don’t agree with the downvoting ability on here. It just breeds animosity in some people. It is a way to show negativity and even YT did away with it long ago. I never downvote. I think just not upvoting is enough for someone to get the point that their comment isn’t popular

yellow_rose1 1 points 1 year ago.

yes that was a great one too
