I Was on the Streets of DT Seattle at the time of this Documentary, I knew all of these Kids, They were my friends and I morn the ones that died too early…
One of my all time favorite documentaries.
I’m 10 mins into this and I want to cry, so young
Upon checking their IMDB pages, most seem to have had an improved life. One even owns their own company. The fierce lesbian who defended almost all the women in this film was unfortunately stabbed and killed by a homeless man, in an arcade. Probably defending another woman or herself. This documentary was an excellent insight into street life in the late 70’s/early 80’s. I’m very grateful services exist these days to prevent child homelessness and child prostitution/exploitation.
This was a sad film indeed. I like it because it’s raw and real.
they don’t hold anything back that’s for sure. So sad to hear about the fierce lesbian, I really liked her. She didn’t take any shit for sure
