If you’re a Cassandra Peterson fan (Elvira), she has a nice cameo in this fun flick starring Mark Blankfield from Fridays. Remember Fridays? The 80’s threat to SNL almost killed it. Great show where Larry David (Curb) & Mike Richardson from Seinfeld came from.
I always liked Elvira, but thank you for pointing out Fridays, I’d totally forgotten about it and never knew about it until I looked Mark up to see what else he’d done last time I found this movie on YTube. Also forgot about Blankfield’s line from J&H as he goes through Customs and they ask what he wants to declare: Man has not evolved an inch from the slime that spawned him. Truer words have never been spoken… :)
Oh hey! That was fun, wasn’t it? Really dig Blankfield & the entire Friday’s cast!
lol older movie but diffently a good one
True - definitely has that early 80s “cocaine is king” thing going on. :) IMO the funniest part is the bit in the beginning where he says he’s going to replace surgery with drugs - the way he says the word drugs and the resident/intern party afterwards still gives me a laugh even where some of the jokes haven’t aged as well. That and seeing B-grade Sci Fi movie John McClane, Jack? Trancer, walkin’ round in women’s underwear. Makes you wonder if the Trancers movies have a hidden secret… ;)
