On April 18, 1945, the photographer Robert Capa took several pictures in a house in Leipzig. The series was published in Life Magazine and became famously known as the ‘Last Man to Die’. This film reconstructs from Capa’s point of view and with original sounds the last minutes of U.S. soldier Raymond J. Bowman’s life just before he was shot and subsequently photographed by Capa. |
