A wake-up call about wars without meaning, intertwined with two 20-somethings’ journey through Vietnam, a country they assumed still viewed them as ‘the enemy’. After offending a village chief, crashing a wedding, and meeting face to face with victims of warfare dropped by their own country, these young Americans see, for the first time, the reality of a war that continues to kill and maim the innocent nearly forty years after it ended.
