AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY OF PORNOGRAPHY, 1979, considers the social and economic context of pornography as it relates to neoliberal decline in the West since 1979. Women’s bodies as laboring bodies assault the viewer in this sonically rich, hairy, sexually graphic and very weird short experimental video. AN INCOMPLETE HISTORY challenges the static ahistoricism surrounding discussions of pornography (both pro- and anti-) to explore the the ways in which our hardcore is a mirror of our labor. |
