Last summer I was given the opportunity to film a sport/art I didn’t even know existed. I spent an entire week with about 100 freerunners learning their culture and how to film them in action. I was so fascinated that I decided to take my new found interest and abilities to the highways and make a documentary about the people and passion behind this new and very intriguing sport. The film features various freerunners of Phoenix, Santa Ana/Huntington Beach, Colorado Springs, and Albuquerque. Each section covers a different aspect of the sport to the melodies of local musicians from each city. |
