= Low Quality | = Medium Quality | = High Quality | How do I watch these? |
i first watched this as a child and it freaked me the fluff out lol
Awful movie. I know it was the ‘70s, but the acting and sound were terrible. Got to where the dad reached the gas station and gave up.
This film was made on a really low budget and so of course the acting won’t be all that good as they couldn’t afford A list actors or even B list actors for that matters as for the sound the few minuets that I listened to sounded fine.
I guess it was scarier when I first saw it when I was a teen in the ‘90s, but now it’s awful. XD
It’s not so much that the sound was cutting out or anything, it’s just some parts were “tinny” or something, and didn’t fit the rest. Like when the guy went into the building to bring the dog outside, at the start.
The fact that it was low budget would obviously explain it. I wasn’t aware of that fact. Thanks for letting me know!
It was even scarier in 1977… That was B.C., B.F., and B.J.
(Before Chucky, Before Freddy, Before Jason)
But yeah,… super low budget…. probably cost less that Blair Witch Project. lol
Crazy how times have changed where “scary” is concerned. Clearly people are more desensitized nowadays to the horrors of real life, that movies don’t really do it anymore. Movie that really scared me when I was a young teen was Child’s Play. My parents were “born again” christers, and my mum didn’t like stuff like horror movies, so why I was allowed to watch that movie, I don’t know. lolol
Definitely a creepy/eerie movie. I didn’t see it until about 10 years ago. Very low budget but I can see how it would’ve been frightening back in the ‘70s when no one had seen anything quite like it.
