Gospel Truth is writer-director Levi Burkle’s debut short film. It is a compelling story of a compulsive liar named Eddie (Julian Curelop), who finds out that his girlfriend is cheating on him with his best friend. When he confronts the both of them, things get ugly and he does something that he will never be able to undo, so he does the only thing he can to escape the repercussions, he leaves town for good in hopes of making a fresh start. Unfortunately, after leaving town, his problems don’t seem to be going away, they just seem to be getting worse. |
