Home in LA for winter holiday, a college freshman struggles with terrors in the aftermath of a campus rape. As the return to spring term draws nearer, her nightmares and flashbacks worsen and she escapes into an imagined alternate reality of ancient Aztec mythology. Fearing pregnancy and insanity, she questions her ability to face the past or the future. She must ultimately decide if returning to university is really the best decision for her. |
