In The Factory, Victor Murphy cannot foresee the destructive consequences of building a robotic family to replace the one he lost. Although knowledgeable in the fields of artificial intelligence and bio mechanical engineering, Victor’s success is limited. His wife Sarah (Claire Warden) has left him and moved away with their two children, leaving Victor alone in a large empty house with only his research to accompany him. As his loneliness and desperation grows, Victor turns to his work for a solution to his misery. He replaces his family with two automatons: a wife named Maria (Alenka Kraigher) and their new son Frankie (Jeremiah Burch III). As blissful and beautiful as their life together is, Victor cannot hide forever. |
