Nearly completed with his medical residency, Malcolm has taken his father’s advice and bought a diamond engagement ring. Malcolm has decided to take some time off and return to his hometown to share his news with his father. His journey of happiness, however, soon turns somber when he receives a tragic telephone call while traveling home. This short film examines how one man copes with tragedy.
