Big Questions for Small Toys is a short interview-style animation where existence, spirituality, and humanity are discussed by some not-so-human characters. Eight personalities from different religions, generations, and ethnic backgrounds are asked: Who or what is God? Is there more to life than humans? And what happens when you stop existing? When asked about their deepest held beliefs, the lack of an answer is sometimes shown to be more revealing than an answer itself. Big Questions for Small Toys aims to provoke audience thought and invite people to ask ‘why do I believe what I do?’ Made by a single animator on a budget of $14.79, this is Maree Railton’s first animated film. |
