I have seen bad porno movies better than this crap.
Now, I appreciate that this movie was Cronenberg’s first feature, but it was boring. There was a beginning to a story here, but it never developed. This looked more like a teenager’s wet dream, of making a movie with all of his fantasies. The acting was terrible, and even for the times, the practical effects were pretty bad. It was repetitive and frankly, insulting to women. There was even a hint of pedophilia, at the beginning. In all, it did not leave much of an impression on me.
