A man (avant-garde pianist, French [performs music of Boulez]) struggles between Art and Reality. His inner world, inhabited by a mythological female figure, Circe like, acts as a mental black hole. He meets a young woman, tries to convince her to abandon reality to come populate his imagination with the fullness of her flesh. He wants her to follow his intertwined artistic and erotic obsessions. His desire for her transfers into his piano performances. He looses her existential presence, looses himself in the same movement, and disappears in his inner world. |
