An excellent and gut wrenching film. I saw it when it first came out in the theaters. Before the theater raised they’re price to $1. lol. Al Pacino was gorgeous and more so in “Serpico.”

Of all the movies about smack this is about as real as it gets. Stella performance. Man was ever getting triggered and I’ve been clean and sober for many years. Intervention doesn’t trigger me this bad. This is what it was really like in the 70’s. Now with fentanyl zombies running the streets, it makes this look like child’s play. I’m so grateful I’m not a junkie in this day in age.
