77 year-old Sensei Taketo Okuda is a Japanese karate teacher trying to achieve enlightenment through his practice. The film portrays Okuda as an ordinary man who strives to teach and to live by millenary ethical values, and brings to light the conflicts of a Zen master in today’s world. |
