Disappointing. Most of the story isn’t even about Padre Pio…
I really wanted to like this movie, but it was just BORING. The life and personality of Padre Pio is poorly explained or developed and the film seemed more focused on some half-baked back story about Communism. The best part of the film was the scenery.
