Details:

In the town of Manta, in Huancavelica, Peru; unmentionable events occurred. Thirty years later, Magda, after a long walk, arrives at her house in the middle of a beautiful place in the Peruvian Andes. As she rests next to some trees in the middle of the afternoon, she hears someone approaching. She gets scared and runs away to her house. She is facing a legal process, but her friends come to accompany her. They want to know how she is doing with the trial she has in search of justice.
As they prepare their lunch while peeling potatoes, they remember their childhood and their life in the countryside, an innocent life, full of joy and desire, but these times were tinged with sad moments that marked their lives forever. Magda and her friends, when they were teenagers, were victims of sexual violence by some soldiers of the Peruvian army, who were stationed in Huancavelica during the mid-eighties, in the middle of the war against the terrorist movement Sendero Luminoso. Not only were they victims of rape by the military authorities of their region, but they were also pointed out and accused by the women of their own village of being “easy” women and “girlfriends” of the soldiers. Several young women had to flee from there and were despised forever. They were condemned without anyone asking them why they did it. They felt looked at, judged in this place frozen in time. At the same time, Magda seeks the help of the public prosecutor with whom we will discover that, unfortunately, these rapes carried out by the military in the eighties were a common practice that dozens of women suffered because of the fear they had of the military who threatened to accuse them of being terrorists if they opposed it. The trial against these soldiers is underway and accompanies us throughout the story and it is through these testimonies that we learn the details of this situation. A story of war victims who still seek justice with. Thirty years later, Magda decides to return to find her past, now that she is facing a judicial process that can restore the dignity and honor that her people have denied her. With the company of her friends a dim light emerges again.
