A tribute to the actress Setsuko Hara (1920-2015), rendered through the movies she starred in under the director Yasujiro Ozu. Her partnership with the filmmaker stretched over six feature films -including the anthological Late Spring (1949) and Tokyo Story (1953)- and left such a lasting mark on her career that she abandoned acting and became a recluse after Ozu’s death in 1963. |
