Good and solid performance by Joel Edgerton.
How did I miss this? I saw the title and thought “Great, another tradesman on a vendetta flik.” then I saw the name Sigourney Weaver and clicked the trailer. This looks interesting.

Ha! Thought the exact same thing, what with all the recent titles like “The Baker”, “The Painter”, “The Beekeeper” etc, etc. and then I saw the cast lineup of Weaver and Edgerton.

I don’t understand how most people on this website liked that B-grade corny action flick.
Even though this was not what I expected I enjoyed the slow ride. Also I think Quintessa stole the show. Yes the other two other actors gave wonderful performances I still think her expressiveness and energy made the movie. To be clear this is not a Tradesmen on a vendetta movie even if there was a wee bit of vengeance in it. What is was exactly what the description at th3e top of the page says. My take is it’s a story of redemption, love, with a small dose of betrayal.
I need some time to digest what I watched but, I did enjoy it probably because it made me think.
