Oh! Master (2021)

Lovely documentary. Her murder was so awful, but this shows how vital, talented and happy she was before the unthinkable happened. Everyone should check out her acting and the films she wrote and directed.
I remember when Waitress came out (she directed). I saw it at the theater — it was a huge indie hit with the critics and the audiences! I loved it and it’s on my list to watch again. I recommend Waitress - delightful!
It was a smaller film, but if you liked Waitress, please take the trouble to find “Sudden Manhattan”. It’s here on Primewire. It was the first film she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in. I like it more than Waitress.
I will do that snazzy! I saw that movie in her list of films she directed.
I only found out about her death last year when I was looking up Waitress. I saw a picture and wondered what happened to her. as her smiling face is unforgettable. And YES! Hal Hartley films! I need to go on a Hartley binge. Or maybe just one at a time. I thought Parker Posey was his muse too. RIP Adrienne Shelly
she was and still is amazing. the news of her death was tragic. a big loss of talent and female power and wisdom.
She was murdered by an illegal immigrant from Ecuador.
