Details:

The mysterious life of Princess Nouhime, who lived through the dangerous, samurai-governed Sengoku Period of Japanese history, comes alive in these two telefilms. The beautiful and smart Princess Nouhime (Arisa Mizuki), daughter of Dosan Saito, the samurai lord of the Mino region, is married off to Nobunaga Oda (Yu Shirota), the “Fool of Owari,” in a political union. The first telefilm follows their unusual marriage, where Nobunaga, who was rumored to favor a concubine who bore him a son, would only visit Nouhime when he was hungry but would never stay overnight with her.
