Pivoting around the honest, emotional letters of a lonely, hard-working mother of two, idealist Anthi finds herself fighting a losing battle only a few years before the fall of the Berlin Wall. While dreaming of change and reuniting with her husband, Christos, who had to make a business trip to the USSR, Anthi has to deal with the upbringing of their two children, a mundane life, and an ever-growing debt. However, as the world starts to fall apart, one thing is for sure: Christos is so far away from her. |
