Almost sounds like a werewolf in the making and not sure if I want to watch this movie. I’ll wait for a trailer to appear and then decide. No official release date for Nightbitch. Given that filming commenced in Los Angeles in October 2022, we can assume the film will be released sometime in 2024. However, as is the case with many projects, this release could be delayed due to the ongoing strikes in the industry.
Unless I really missed something, my impression was it was about them being dogs and being WILD (embracing the wild nature within). Hence also the films title NightBITCH (aka a female dog and why she had multiple nipples suddenly). The werewolf impression was just from the trailer, where the whole story is not revealed. JMO.
Yes what I meant is that the whole supernatural body transformation thing is not literal, it’s a metaphor for her perinatal depression or whatever mental issue she’s struggling with and her struggle between parenthood and her own happiness.
Gotcha. I think you might want to spoiler tag it (the first comment) because it’s not something you’d know from the synopsis or the trailers. Just a thought!
It is not at all about a werewolf. You’re safe to watch, but I didn’t find it very good, either. Amy didn’t have much to work with as the writers still managed to short change women with a generic answer to motherhood and the demands .
It wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be. It brought back memories from when my kids were toddlers and resinated with the story. The little boy was absolutely adorable. He reminded me of my son at times. It’s not Amy’ s best for sure. I give it ⭐⭐⭐I love Amy Adams but it was a let down, in my opinion
Amy Adams is magnificent in this roll! IMHO this film should resonate with women who are mothers. If it doesn’t, you’re only fooling yourself. LOL Most men just don’t get what motherhood does to a women. Now I want to read the book this was based on.

I definitely am going to watch.
the “werewolf” stuff is just a metaphor
