“Cine Vaz Lobo” is a short film documentary that portrays street cinema in “Rio de Janeiro”. Selected for the “Curta Rio” award, the short film shows the struggle of residents for the transformation of Vaz Lobo’s Cinema into a Cultural Center and listens to former moviegoers. The struggle of the members of the movement for the preservation of Vaz Lobo’s Cinema meant that the building was not demolished in 2010 for the construction of the urban road “Trans Carioca”. |
