Damnnnn… Now this is how to make a movie. It’s amazing. Great cast. Really slick script. The angles have angles. Towards the end i felt like rewatching the movie in reverse just to capture and appreciate the plot.
The sad truth is even till this day, every big industry have their dirty secrets they’ve spent billions protecting from the general public.

Great movie about corruption among carmakers in Detroit. This movie shows how the catalytic exhaust system was made mandatory. It starts like an average heist movie, but ends showing how deep corruption goes among corporations.

Really slick script by Solomon, I am going to watch this another couple of times just to appreciate all the angles and dialogue. Soderbergh’s use of the various lenses to capture that 50’s noir motif/feel is really nice. Combine all of this with a really tight cast (I thought Liotta was fantastic) and you got yourself a really well done crime flick.

Great cast, great script, really felt like 1954 Detroit plus as a heist movie it kept you guessing what would happen next, instead of other movies, where you easily figure out what’s going on.

new runner up for movie of the year - with a plethora of stars -never quite sure where this is heading-very well written

This movie was great! I liked everything about it: the story, the actors, the cinematography, all top notch!

5 stars. Would give more but can’t.

Quite a good little movie in fact, I enjoyed it.It had an interesting web of characters ..but their interaction was a little difficult to follow. Ray was brilliant as always, even though his part was micro…but I was shocked to see how Brendan Fraser looks like now…woah ! I hardly recognized him ! 7/10

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ok, it’s a given with Soderbergh directing and that cast, in that city; the movie would be great. BUT oh those cars, beautiful metal sculptures with leather and chrome adornments!

Is this based on a true story or events? either way quite boring which was surprising considering the cast. 3\10
