Martin has failed as a practical veterinarian and works in research - until now, because he is also losing this job. He’s neither stupid nor lazy, just incredibly bumbling. That’s enough now for his girlfriend Tessa, she throws him out. Martin stands in front of a pile of broken glass. At that moment he received a call from his mother Beate: His father Henning, a veteran country veterinarian, broke his arm and needs Martin’s help. The relationship between Martin and Henning has always been tense, the gripping Henning and the dreamy Martin are too different. Nevertheless, Martin steps in - especially since he has nothing better to do anyway.
