Small-town Sheriff Tom Braswell and his newly-minted deputy are about to end a very uneventful shift in a sleepy East Texas town. However, a routine welfare concern over two missing hunters thrusts them into a series of life-altering events. These two lawmen must now become more than they ever thought they could be as they become the prey of a genetic nightmare. From the thick forest of East Texas, to deep in the Arctic tundra, an unlikely group of heroes joins forces with a beautiful but deadly former government operative from a dismantled genetic research program known only as Project ColdFire.
