Hanna Lovelady grew up on a tulip farm - or in her words “a place where Roy G. Biv threw up.” Needless to say, she has no desire to go back to the family business. You see, there was this party, and social media was there, which means her insect of a brother saw it and tried to blackmail her. Long story short, Dad’s mad as a hornet and unless she aces her college video thesis, her dreams of becoming an entomologist are DOA. We’ll go along for the ride as Hanna commandeers her roommate’s video equipment to document the journey of “Charlie”, a rare Chan’s MegaStick, as she chauffeurs him to a remote research facility. But she’ll arrive to find the place empty and it’s not long before something “unnatural” rears its ugly head. Miles from civilization, no phone signal, and her hatchback squished - a direct result of the unnatural thing with the ugly head - she must rely on her budding bug skills to thwart off a giant mutant insect invasion that threatens to wipe out all humanity.
