During an ongoing battle for humanity, a group of rookie space fighter pilots is sent to join the battle against an armada of unbeatable enemy ships. When the trainee pilot and her gunner are shot down, they manage to crash land on a nearby planet. With the gunner mortally wounded and her own life support only set to last two days, our pilot’s only option is to fix her ship. The sudden appearance of an enemy craft offers the answer, but as the pilot looks for parts to use on her own ship she is horrified to spot another survivor; an enemy alien soldier who has no intention of letting her escape.

The aliens they were fighting fought like crap .They oddly could withstand lasers fired from guns and spaceships .I would like for the film to have been more about survival on the planet .This is a low budget film but a decent amount of money went into it .You se this in the space space suits .The enemy craft on the planet looks soo fake really crappy cgi for that.If I was them I would remake this film and try something else.
These are the type of films I like however this felt like Short film that happens to be over an hour long .
Interesting indie flick with some flaws.
The first ~20 minutes is reminiscent of Battlestar Galactica fighter scenes without the budget. It’s all action and radio chatter. Unfortunately, cockpit shots don’t even have green screen scenes in the windows. What’s more, the audio is even annoying in parts.
HOWEVER, once the action moves to the planet, it really starts to become far more engaging.
If I ignore the first 20 minutes, it rates 3/5 as an overall film experience.
If I just watch the last 70 minutes and take into account it’s budget, it’s almost a 4/5 in the arena of B-mvoies.
PS - “Hunter Prey” has a similar conceit, but is a bit better than this film. It’s one of my favorite low budget sci fi’s.
Can’t believe they still make B movies like this anymore with the Technology we have now, seen better green screens on the news.Well, Ill give it a 5 out of 10, Wish they would have spent some extra money on graphics. I think it would have helped the movie a lot.
