When Jay West (Hamish Austin) is suddenly retrenched from his seemingly secure job, he finds himself rapidly losing drive and direction. Meanwhile his good mate Roy (Richard Ferry) isn’t having the best of times either: on the way to a party with his girlfriend she tells him that she’s dumping him and kicking him out, and to make matters worse his car dealership business is going downhill fast. Jay and Roy decide there’s only one thing to do when down on their luck and finances, and with no immediate place to live - take on a suburban house-sitting position. Just as they are settling in to take stock of their lives, their problems are put into perspective when they become involved with an extremely nasty neighbourhood situation.
