Actually was surprised by this one. Only checked it out for the cast but I am not into “holiday movies” or “rom-com”, which this one is being marketed as, despite being neither really.
I was pleasantly surprised. It’s funny, engaging, and ultimately deals with deeper issues in a way that’s not too preachy or trite.

Never thought I would watch a Christmas movie with Kristen Stewart and actually enjoy it. Me and my girl loved watching this on Thanksgiving with the refreshing premise to the typical holiday film. I really felt the emotions from characters and gave me a few good chuckles.

It’s not “A Wonderful Life”, but it is a great up to date dysfunctional Christmas Story.
