Interestingly, if you watch the last five or six renditions of this book, every single one of them casts someone who has made it famous in Hollywood before they were famous. Gweneth Paltrow, Jonny Lee Miller, Kate Beckinsale, and a few others all got noticed with this one story. I wonder who will continue the streak with this one?
Nikkimcklevy seems you were right. Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma) is doing really well in Hollywood with her latest lead roll in the tv-show The Queens Gambit on Netflix. A very interesting and enjoyable show, her acting is becoming quite good!
eff 03/20 : New HD Versions.
Pretty good movie if you like period pieces. The acting was superb and the film was visually pleasing. I loved the costumes though I’m so glad those hairstyles were left in the past. It has more of an epigrammatic style comedy.
eff 02/15 : Brand New HDCAM Versions. You can expect occasional adverts and open-mic audio.
Picture quality is slightly out of focus and lighting is over-saturated.

I will wait for a better version. This one goes in and out of focus and it’s hard to hear the audio well.
I’m sure I will really enjoy it. It’s something from Jane Austen after all.
