not good at all…nothing like the original.
haha, wasn’t as bad as i thought it’d be. glad they tried to change and retell the story, but i think they could have some up with something better? it was more funny than scary, though. which is… strange. i guess if you ignore the original movies, and just judge this for what it is, it’s fine! fun movie! solid one-time watch.

Ok this destroys the entire franchise and premise. Now at least they paid homage to the origins of chucky…the “my buddy” doll…which as an 80’s kid for some reason I did have.
Ok aside from it being a TERRIBLE REMAKE…like st discovery…judged on it’s own it’s good…judged against it’s history it TOTALLY sucks. Now judged alone the doll looks like ass too though. Really my only complaint when ignoring the franchise.
