Adrien Barlow visits his mother, Amelia, over a period of time. Amelia started to have Alzheimer symptoms couple years ago but recently they have worsened. Currently, she is in the middle stages of dementia. Adrien tries to get her to move into a care facility but she resists. He tries to cope with her illness and recalls the past before her disease set in. He hopes for her to get better but her condition worsens as the weeks pass. The film shows him trying to come to terms with his mom’s gradual deterioration, and the unreliability of his mother’s memory. |
