Two of Wahlberg’s best sports movies are based on amazing true stories: Micky Ward the Boxer and Vince Papale the Football Player (Invincible). Bale and Wahlberg are amazing in this film as it chronicles the early career of “Irish” Micky Ward.
Any movie with Amy and Christian is going to be a great one and then with Walberg. Two hot men and a smoken hot leading lady, with great fights on the streets and in the ring. Fantastic movie. Worth more than just one watch for sure. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Oh and incredible soundtrack especially if you are a Gen X
I agree about this movie being remarkable, but after it, and what I know of MW racism, I no longer watch anything he’s in free or otherwise. Racists don’t change, especially rich ones. Wonderful movie though!
I had heard anything about that wow
It’s easily looked up. He basically beat someone to a pulp. Since then he’s worked hard to give PR that he’s been “redeemed “ and is sorry, but seriously?? Having the kind of violent anger toward someone who is white isn’t something I believe can be changed that easily and I certainly won’t watch anything he does anymore. I did used to like his acting; now I stand with #blacklivesmatter.
