Mr. Dingemans has adopted an orphan, but needs a woman to help him raise the child. It takes some time before he and Mme. Babbel realize that they would better marry to be happy and to take care of the child. As in the entire series of short films “Mr. Dingemans en Mm. Babbel”, smuggling plays a role in the story. |
