Ella and Nell used to be best friends. Now both in their early fourties, they have different ideas of how to lead their lives, leaving little time for each other. Determined to change this, they set out on a hike together through the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. During their trip they try to reconnect, painfully having to realize how much they grew apart. Soon it is not only the impassable nature, but old sores, pride, fears and shame making them go astray. |
