Escaping her mundane corporate job in central London, twenty-something Kasia, strikes up a friendship with Juan, the young and charismatic Spanish founder of a holiday rental empire in Andalucía. Juan sets Kasia up in an idyllic villa in the countryside where she realises her dream of a lifestyle far removed from the London office. But Kasia is under surveillance, observed by an unseen watcher from the grounds… and from within the villa itself. As she experiences eerie night-time phenomena, the heat and isolation of her country retreat takes its toll, sexual tension mounts, and relationships become fractured, culminating in a startling revelation that throws Kasia’s journey of self-discovery onto a terrifying new trajectory. |
