William is having a panic attack. He has pushed his childhood so far into the recesses of his mind that it is coming back to bite him in the ass. He spends his time staring at a blank canvas which he intends to, someday, do some art on. When he’s not wasting his time panicking, he’s having cross over visions of his mother and her abuse and a muse, Elia, who he doesn’t know. Shot in a fluid way, melding scenes seamlessly together, “Railroad” is an exploration of William’s mind. |
